The JRx Philosophy

Strength of mind and spirit builds the body!

Physical strength and conditioning is just not enough for people who are committed to taking their fitness training to the next level. I’ve found that the best way to help people move and live better is with a holistic lifestyle approach that also considers the mental and spiritual aspects of wellness - with the ultimate goal of feeling that vibrance throughout every area of life.
Whether the goal is to improve a golf or tennis game, to feel superhuman when playing with kids or grand-kids or to just enjoy the challenge of doing more with less effort at the gym, the people I work with are recreational athletes, “weekend warriors” and just active people that want to be strong, healthy and free of injuries-to do all the things they love to do!
JRx Wellness brings all the elements of wellness together - just like pieces of a puzzle.  This healthy living system is ideal for people who already have a foundation in fitness: They’ve often tried all the latest fitness trends and know tons of facts about what they “should” do to to live a healthy life - yet they’re not happy with their results.
Other programs might teach new exercise techniques and provide ways to keep people from getting bored, but the magic of the JRx philosophy is in the details and how everything is blended together. With a focus on all the nuances of optimal movement and healthy living, the focus is on learning to pay attention to the details, from body mechanics to breathing patterns to emotions (mood) for a completely different kind of transformation.

Holistic Lifestyle Coaching

Using the JRx principles as the foundation, a “coach approach” is used to help people move in a mindful way, refine body mechanics, establish healthy living strategies and put rest/recovery practices in place to tune into both body and soul.

The JRx Principles:

Balanced Movement

Developing mobility, stability, strength and power in all planes of movement with total body alignment prevents overuse injuries and promotes body control.

Positive Mindset

Picturing the result of a goal helps you achieve it, while internal visualization of the moves helps you perform them externally with accuracy!

Breath Work

We take an average of 20,000 breaths a day and 100,000,000 breaths in a lifetime- so learning to breathe efficiently needs to be a priority!

Proper Hydration

Your body is 60 to 80% water, and every cell, organ, and bit of tissue needs water to function optimally- to think, move and feel better.

Optimal Nutrition

Nutrient-rich foods that fuel your lifestyle and sharpen your mind are key for nutrition, but what you put on your body (that’s absorbed through skin) also plays a role.

Quality Sleep

The amount and quality of sleep impacts many of the systems in our body. Discovering methods to sleep better will help you with both physical and mental recovery.
